Toad in the Hole

There are a many stories about how the dish got it’s name but the one we like the most takes place at an 18th century golf tournament. The dish was supposedly invented to celebrate the tournament and got its name after a toad peeked out of a golf hole pushing the golfer ball out of play. But regardless of how it originated Toad in the hole is a British dinner time staple, perfect for when the nights start to draw in. Check out our super simple recipe here!
